A Day to Life Post – 26!

This is something that’s stuck in my head for almost a year now. I even remember being told to go online last year and see this scene from the movie over and over again. Everyday I keep the first line of this amazing quote, “Don’t ever let someone tell you that you cant do something” in my mind. Thought of sharing it with you all. Maybe it will inspire those who need the most in someway or the other, like its inspired me today, since I haven’t been feeling myself lately.

A Day to Life Post – 25!

Something that I wrote and wanted to share with you all:

Today I choose happiness,

Today I choose to let go off the pain.

There was a time when you were with me all the time,

And today I am all alone, fighting every single day.

You once told me that you would always be there with me,

Holding my hand, you promised me.

But it seems life and you had different plans,

And one thing that I have learnt is,

Promises are always made so they can be broken.

So today I choose happiness above all.

Today I let you go,

Today I set me free.

Today I choose happiness.

A Day to Life Post- 24!

I have been missing from wordpress yet again, was caught up with a lot of things.

We all take love and the people whom we love the most for granted in some way or the other. When I was reading Discussions on Youth Vol-1, I had come across some nice quotes and insights of Sensei Ikeda on love, thought of sharing it with you all:

“Love should be a force that helps you expand your life and bring forth your innate potential with fresh and dynamic vitality.”

“The relationships you form are a reflection of your own state of life.”

“To embark on a relationship as an escape from something is extremely disrespectful to both your partner and yourself.”

“A healthy relationship is one in which two people encourage each other to reach their respective goals while sharing each others hopes and dreams. A relationship should be a source of inspiration and hope.”

“Do not treat love like a game.”

“Happiness is not something that someone else, like a lover, for instance, can give you. You have to achieve it for yourself. And the only way to do so is by developing your own character and capacity as a human being, by fully maximizing your potential.”

“If you sacrifice your own growth and talent for love, you will absolutely not find happiness. True happiness is obtained through fully realizing your own potential.”
